BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Timothy Yontz is Assistant Professor of Music Education at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois where he is Music Education Director and Conductor of The Wheaton College Symphonic Band. Dr. Yontz has served as Coordinator of Fine Arts for the Kenosha School District in Wisconsin; Associate Director of Bands at the University of Nebraska-Omaha; and Director of Bands in public schools in Wisconsin and Indiana. He is an active guest conductor, music education clinician, and festival adjudicator (www.timothyyontz.com).
Dr. Yontz holds a Ph.D. in music education from the University of Nebraska, Master of Music from Butler University, and Bachelor of Music Education from Indiana University. He is a member of the College Band Directors National Association, Music Educators National Conference, National Band Association, and Phi Beta Mu International School Bandmaster Fraternity. He resides in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, with his wife, Brenna, and children, Brent and Bess.
